Ketron "KC" Shaw committed this weekend after visiting campus with his family. The 6’5 guard from Charlotte, N.C. started his career at Winston-Salem State where he helped lead them to a CIAA Championship. After that title, he followed his head coach to UMES where he led the team in scoring, assists and rebounding earning himself All-MEAC honors.
Ketron is a versatile player who can slash, rebound and finish above the rim. Joining the additions of Zacch Wiggins and Jared Turner, the Monarchs appear to be loading up for a fun season on offense with varied playmakers who can score in a variety of ways.
Mike had a chance to talk with KC after his commitment to learn a little more about the newest member of the Old Dominion family.
