Charleston is a 6'0, 175 lb., safety from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, Florida. He's rated as a 3* recruit on 24/7 and was originally committed to Georgia Southern. Do you have a nickname you prefer to go by?

C.J. Floyd

Who was your lead recruiter and how would you describe your relationship with the staff?

My lead recruiter was Coach Rebstock. We have had a great relationship since we met and even after I committed to another school, nothing changed.

Did you make a visit to campus or do you plan too? If so, what stood out about campus to you?

My visit was amazing. I just fell in love with the home away from home feeling.

What other offers were you considering?

I was committed to Georgia Southern before ODU.

What made you pick ODU over your other offers?

Really just Coach Rebstock showing me the care and the opportunity that was given to me.

If you had to pick a player to compare your game to, who would you pick?

I try to model my game after players like Troy Polamalu and Brian Dawkins. It's just seeing the way they play the position so freely and the way that they make their opponents feel them through every play with their physicality.

What has been your favorite moment or highlight from your football career so far?

Going to the state championship game my freshman year. I

Track or baseball.

If you were a boxer or UFC fighter, what would your entrance music be?
