Do you have a nickname you prefer to go by?
I go by Braden or sometimes Bellis.
Who was your lead recruiter and how would you describe your relationship with the staff?
I worked with Mike of Dawg House recruiting and he knew Coach Huettel personally.
On your visit, did anything stand out for you and if so, what?
Personally, I felt super loved by the older guys and felt like I fit right in.
What other offers were you considering?
ODU was really the only offer that I considered in my recruiting.
What made you pick ODU over your other offers?
ODU just seemed like home to me.
If you had to pick a player to compare your game to, who would you pick and why?
I would compare my play to Will Campbell because he is aggressive and plays good in space.
What has been your favorite moment or highlight from your football career so far?
My favorite highlight was when we beat our rivals last year in a walk-off overtime touchdown and our students rushed the field.
If you weren’t playing football, what other sport would you want to play in college?
I definitely could have been good at baseball because I’m left handed and have long arms.
If you were a boxer or UFC fighter, what would your entrance music be?
Definitely some Creed or even Alice In Chains.
You’re in the weight room and you have one lift to impress. What’s the lift you’re doing? And how much weight you putting up?
Not really a lift, more of a stretch, but I'm about an inch away from doing a split.
Football in college is a lot like a full time job with practice, lifts, workouts, class and nutrition and that requires a love of the game. What do you most love about football?
I just like to hurt people legally and be able to walk away and be friends with that guy.
Food is fuel and football requires good fuel. What’s your favorite pregame meal and what’s your favorite cheat meal?
Pregame meal was a bunch of pasta and ground beef. Favorite cheat meal was going to Sheetz and getting a buffalo chicken pizza.
What is your message for Monarch Nation?
I love ice cream and cake!
