Notes- Appeared in 12 games as a sophomore and started 12 games as a junior at Purdue, amassing 50 tackles, 4 passes defended and 1 interception. Lengthy corner who brings a ton of high level football experience and should plug in at one of the 2 starting corner spots.

DB Ronald Jackson Jr., 6'1, 190 lb., Detroit, MI - Transfer from Montana
Notes- Started all 14 games for Montana in the 2024 season, registering 57 tackles, 1 forced fumble and a fumble recovery. In 2023, he registered 23 tackles, an interception and 3 pass breakups. He has one season of eligibility remaining. He started his career at Akron, where he started as a freshman at the nickel and safety spots. After a coaching change, he switched positions to CB and transferred to Montana.

2024 Stats-- 17 of 22 on FGs. Season long FG of 46 yards. 22 of 23 on XPs.

OL Ryan Joyce, 6'5, 310 lb., Stockton, NJ - Transfer from Fordham
Notes- 2 time captain and 3 year starter (44 starts)at Fordham. A high floor player, who will elevate the offensive line room by bringing toughness, size, experience, a high IQ and versatility to the group. S Nickendre Stiger, 5'11, 187 lb., Wichita, KS - Transfer from Kansas State
Notes-Reserve defensive back for the wildcats. Prior to Kansas State, he played 2 seasons at Butler CC where he earned 2nd Team All Conference his second season at Butler after recording 49 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, a sack, an interception and six passes defended. Kendre adds depth and will push for a starting role in a key position for our defense. We talked with him the other day and asked about his style of play where he said "I am skilled in coverage and love to hit". He should fit right in.

TE Dawson Johnson, 6'4, 235 lb., Denver, CO - Transfer from Florida
Offers - Tulane, UNLV, ECU, Army, UTEP, Kennesaw State and Ohio.
Notes- Former preferred walk-on at Florida.  He played for Cherry Creek in Greenwood Village, CO., which happens to be the rival of Coach Rahne’s high school and the same school Kyle Shanahan played at. He committed while on a visit the first weekend of January and canceled an upcoming visit to Tulane. Big bodied tight end who also played linebacker in high school. That toughness will come in handy with the demand on tight ends in the offense as receivers and blockers.
