This will be a continuing series where we ask the members of the 2025 class for ODU football the same questions to get to know them better and learn more about their recruitment at Old Dominion. First up in this series for the 2025 class, Cameron Hill.

Cameron is a 6'4, 275 lb., offensive lineman from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, NC. He's rated as a 3* recruit on 24/7 and will compete on the interior offensive line for ODU football. To view his highlights, click here.

Do you have a nickname you prefer to go by?

They call me Boogie Man or Big Cam right now.

Who was your lead recruiter and how would you describe your relationship with the staff?

At first it was Coach Seiler and then Coach Huettel took over. I love Coach Hutt, He’s a great coach with great morals. I love the mentality he brings as well.

Did you make a visit to campus or do you plan too? If so, what stood out about campus to you?

What stood out to me is that a lot of the things are close in distance. So it's not too far of a walk for classes and going to the facilities.

What other offers were you considering?

ODU was the only one.

What made you pick ODU over your other offers?

The family oriented vibe I felt from the school and coaching staff. They treated my family very well and that's something I looked for in every program I visited.

If you had to pick a player to compare your game to, who would you pick?

I would compare myself to Jason Kelce. Because of his mentality with blocking defensive lineman. As well as him not being a big 6’6 guy, but he plays like he is.

What has been your favorite moment or highlight from your football career so far?

Going deep in the playoffs with the guys. I mean, there is no better feeling being one of the only teams still playing in your city and just over all of Eastern North Carolina soon.

If you weren’t playing football, what other sport would you want to play in college?

I think I would play lacrosse for sure. That was a sport I started around 8th grade and got pretty decent at it as time went on

If you were a boxer or UFC fighter, what would your entrance music be?

My walk out song would be The Fireman by George Strait.

What is your message for Monarch Nation?

My message for Monarch Nation is that I’m ready to work and bring this school some more hardware!!!

Stay tuned for the next Q&A with the class of 2025 for ODU football. In the meantime, go give Cameron a follow on twitter/X. For a complete look at the 2025 class, tap in here!
