Do you have a nickname you prefer to go by?

Ferg

Who was your lead recruiter and how would you describe your relationship with the staff?

Coach Hut, we had a great relationship all the way through my recruitment. And Coach Rahne, both of them checked in with me weekly and talked to me about the upcoming games

On your visit, did anything stand out for you and if so, what?

They’ve built a culture there and it’s definitely a family.

What other offers were you considering?

I was never really considering anybody else, ODU believed in me first and we had a good relationship all the way through my recruitment.

What made you pick ODU over your other offers?

I picked ODU because we had the best relationship, it felt the most like family, and the coaches care about making better men (not just football players).

If you had to pick a player to compare your game to, who would you pick and why?

I’ve always loved watching Trent Williams just because of the nastiness that he played with. He wants to win more than anybody else, every play.

What has been your favorite moment or highlight from your football career so far?

Playing in the state championship.

If you weren’t playing football, what other sport would you want to play in college?

I think I would have to go with basketball.

If you were a boxer or UFC fighter, what would your entrance music be?

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N’ Roses.

You’re in the weight room and you have one exercise to impress. What are you going with?

I would probably do something more like a box jump.

Football in college is a lot like a full time job with practice, lifts, workouts, class and nutrition and that requires a love of the game. What do you most love about football?

I love the contact of football. It’s just always been the sport that I’ve had the most fun playing.

Food is fuel and football requires good fuel. What’s your favorite pregame meal and what’s your favorite cheat meal?

Honestly, my pregame meal was usually some sort of chicken with bread or fries and my cheat meal would be a pepperoni pizza from Little Caesar’s with garlic parm.

What is your message for Monarch Nation?

I just want to thank God for my opportunity to be a part of the family.
